• Corpus Christi, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel assignment with 13-week duration
• Shifts: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients in a 25-bed unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
• Manage chest tubes, non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, and weight-based heparin infusions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech EMR system.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress code (royal blue scrubs), and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ACLS certification required or preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Telemetry nursing experience
• Ability to manage chest tubes and IV drips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior telemetry experience in a hospital setting
• Experience managing complex cardiac interventions
• Familiarity with hospital equipment such as Baxter IV Pumps and SCD pumps
