- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in the Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Monitor and operate medical equipment such as Alaris pumps and ventilators
- Perform procedures including IV starts, catheterizations, central line dressing changes, ICP monitoring, and trach care
- Document patient care accurately within the Cerner system
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care
- Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and scheduling requirements, including working three weekends per six-week schedule
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year PICU nursing experience
- Current PALS certification
- Ability to float to Pediatric and Neonatal ICU as needed
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric critical care procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with pediatric hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic documentation system
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
