- Travel, 13-week assignment, night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care for ICU patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor and operate ventilators, cardiovascular drips, and other critical care equipment.
- Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, arterial line, and central line placements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in Meditech EMR.
- Respond to emergencies and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas or appropriate state license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- ICU experience with ventilators and cardiovascular drips.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to unit policies.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neuro ICU experience highly preferred.
- Familiarity with CRRT, IABP, Impella is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
