• Full-time, nights, contract (3 shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care for surgical, trauma, and medical patients in a busy acute care setting
• Monitor and manage IV therapies, dressing changes, wound care, and pain management
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and effective care delivery
• Document patient status accurately and communicate effectively with team and patients
• Assist with patient mobility, vital signs, and basic bedside procedures using PCT support

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation of application process
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with post-operative and acute patient care
• Critical thinking skills and ability to ask for help when needed
• Good bedside manner and team-oriented attitude

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with trauma or overflow medical patients
• Familiarity with wound care, IV therapy, and patient documentation systems
• Ability to manage telemetry patients and work in a fast-paced environment
