Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including neurointerventional and vascular interventions.
- Assist and circulate during complex procedures such as cerebral arteriograms, coilings, embolizations, Y-90, TIPS, and neph procedures.
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, including GE single-plane and Philips biplane systems.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, including moderate sedation.
- Maintain accuracy in documentation and adhere to unit policies and safety protocols.
- Support team collaboration within a fast-paced, specialized radiology department.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR/Special Procedures Technologist.
- Previous experience in interventional radiology procedures, scrub and circulate.
- BLS certification.
- Proficiency with imaging equipment and EMR systems (Cerner/Radnet).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends and on-call as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Vascular or cath lab experience.
- Experience with neurointerventional radiology procedures.
- Knowledge of advanced interventional techniques such as coilings, embolizations, and mechanical thrombectomies.
