• Night shift, 13-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient medical-surgical nursing care to a 15-bed rehab unit at a regional medical center.
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and patient transfers utilizing equipment such as Hoyer lifts and sliding boards.
• Conduct bladder scans, dressing changes, and monitor vital signs using EMR systems like Meditech.
• Ensure patient safety through hourly rounding and bed alarm activation.
• Collaborate with a team of RNs, CNAs, and charge nurses to deliver quality care.
• Follow all unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with patient transfer techniques and EMR systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in rehab or medical-surgical units.
• Knowledge of rehab scoring documentation.
• Ability to take initiative and demonstrate teamwork.
