Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) labs
- Assist with procedures such as ablations, device implants, device extractions, and structural heart interventions
- Monitor patient conditions and ensure safety during complex cardiovascular procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Document procedures and patient data accurately in the EMR system
- Maintain compliance with unit policies and dress code standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab, EP lab, interventional radiology, or operating room
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license
- Ability to work 10.5-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Experience with biosense Webster, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Medtronic mapping systems is preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Over 1 year of specialized RN experience in Electrophysiology
- Skilled in managing procedures such as ablations, device implants, and structural heart interventions
- Strong adaptability to case fluctuations and team collaboration skills
