Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage IV drips, including Heparin titration
• Perform patient assessments and update medical records accurately
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Respond to patient needs and ensure safety in a 18-bed unit with private and semi-private rooms

Required Qualifications

• Current IL RN license or active application process
• BLS certification
• Successful completion of a negative drug screen (OSF policy)
• Last four digits of SSN and middle initial required during submission
• Ability to work night shifts and handle patient assignments with nurse aides and PCTs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1+ year of hospital medical-surgical experience
• ACLS certification (preferred for charge nurse role)
• Experience managing telemetry patients and troubleshooting tele-monitor systems
• Strong IV skills, including starting IVs and titrating drips
