Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with general education teachers to develop targeted, high-leverage interventions for students.
• Diagnose student challenges and design individualized programs and differentiated strategies to meet specific needs.
• Teach rigorous, college-preparatory curricula aligned with school and state standards.
• Use data-driven decision making to monitor student progress and communicate results to families and colleagues.
• Provide individual or small group instruction for students requiring additional support.
• Model a "whatever it takes" spirit to ensure each student’s success and embody the school’s core values in all communications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong interpersonal skills fostering a collegial and supportive work environment.
• At least two years of teaching experience preferred.
• New York State Special Education teacher certification highly recommended.
• Passion for working in a mission-driven, team-oriented school culture.
