Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Trenton, MO
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shift (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER environment with an average daily census of 16-18 visits.
• Manage up to 7 beds/rooms, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Cover night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with guaranteed hours of at least 3 shifts per 13 weeks.
• Float between departments and units as needed to meet facility requirements, including both Kansas and Missouri locations.
• Complete required documentation, protocols, and certification updates as per hospital standards.
• Participate in holiday, weekend, and charge RN assignments, supporting overall ER operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent ER or emergency nursing experience within the past 12 months.
• Valid RN license with no more than 90 days gap in employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to float between departments as needed.
• Must be at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered local; no travel partners accepted.
• Satisfactory completion of drug screening, labs, and mandatory orientation modules, including EPIC training.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a high-volume ER with trauma or acute carePatients.
• Previous experience with Epic EMR system and infusion pumps.
• Flexibility for on-call duties if required.
