• Registered Nurse - Oncology

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), 5 days a week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide outpatient oncology nursing care in a clinical setting, working closely with physicians and supporting adult patients with hematology and oncology diagnoses
• Perform IV starts, triage, and assist with outpatient treatments and supportive care procedures
• Manage patient assessments and coordinate care using EMR systems such as EPIC and SBAR
• Float as needed to other infusion centers within the greater Charlotte area, including locations in Huntersville and University
• Ensure proper documentation, patient safety, and adherence to clinical protocols
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent outpatient oncology nursing experience
• Valid NC or Compact nursing license, or pending license in hand at start
• Must have outpatient and IV start experience
• Ability to bring and use personal stethoscope during shifts
• BCLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Chemotherapy certification (preferred, not mandatory)
• Experience with EPIC EMR system and outpatient triage
• Comfortable floating to multiple outpatient facilities within the region

Additional Notes
• No call required; no RTO during the first week of assignment without facility approval, and up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved if not coinciding with holidays
• Must be willing and able to travel between multiple outpatient locations in the Charlotte area as needed
• Shift is day hours only, no on-site call; clinic is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas
• Candidates must complete all required modules and testing prior to start and adhere to fatigue policies and floating expectations
