Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care in the Operating Room for various surgical procedures.
• Ensure delivery of safe, efficient, and quality care aligned with departmental standards.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams, physicians, and support staff to meet patient needs.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and respect toward patients, families, and team members.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or a valid Compact state license.
• BLS Certification from AHA.
• ACLS Certification from AHA.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior operating room or surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and adapt quickly to emergency needs.
