Key Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonary care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, including critical, non-critical, and chronically ill individuals, under physician supervision.
• Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans.
• Execute technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures across hospital departments.
• Manage airway devices, ventilators, and administer aerosolized medications.
• Analyze chest films, blood gases, and EKGs; document patient care accurately.
• Respond to emergency codes and participate in hospital surveys.
• Support advanced practice tasks such as pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy assistance, and waveform analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RT or RCP license in Texas.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by NBRC.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ventilator management, aerosolized drug delivery, and airway support devices.
• Familiarity with pulmonary function testing, sleep studies, and hemodynamic monitoring.
