Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, respond to patient needs, and administer medications as prescribed.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and facility protocols, including necessary assessments and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure positive outcomes.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies, including drug screening and fingerprinting requirements.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training, passing assessments such as ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (active and current).
• Recent experience working night shifts in a hospital setting.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday and comply with travel and screening protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Cleveland Clinic or similar healthcare institutions.
• Experience with PBDS assessment waiver process.
• Knowledge of hospital electronic health records and documentation systems.
• Strong critical thinking and patient management skills.
