- Full-time, nights shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to patients in a busy hospital setting.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care using Meditech EMR.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including charge nurses, LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries.
- Adhere to unit policies, including dress code with navy blue scrubs, and maintain patient safety.
- Support patient transfers and utilize equipment such as Pyxis, Hoyer lifts, and Welch Allen VS machines.
- Cover scheduled weekends and holidays as per the rotation schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing license (RN or LPN) in Missouri
- BLS certification
- Inpatient hospital nursing experience in a medical-surgical unit
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Experience working in multiple med-surg units or telemetry
- Knowledge of hospital EMR systems, especially Meditech
