• Full-time, Night shifts, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and support sleep studies under the direct supervision of a sleep medicine physician, including PSG scoring and patient education.
• Support patients with positive airway pressure devices and conduct polysomnogram data acquisition and analysis.
• Oversee home sleep testing logistics, set up and score home sleep studies, and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Calibrate and apply electrodes and sensors, monitor study quality, identify artifacts, and document study observations.
• Collaborate with physicians to determine testing parameters and explain procedures to patients.
• Ensure compliance with safety and travel documentation requirements, including certifications and vaccinations.
Required Qualifications
• Valid California licensure (RCP, LVN with IV certification, or RN) or relevant certification listed on DAPIP.
• RPSGT certification.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with PSG and home sleep study scoring.
• Flu vaccination (no declination or exemption).
• Ability to travel and provide recent supervisor references, COVID vaccination card, and relevant licensure documentation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• EEG certification.
• Experience supporting sleep device troubleshooting and patient instruction.
• Knowledge of clinical protocols and calibration procedures.
