Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting, including critical care.
• Float within hospital departments as needed to meet patient care requirements.
• Follow hospital policies and protocols while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.
• Adhere to shift schedules, including weekend and holiday rotations.
• Ensure all respiratory therapy certifications and licenses are current and maintained.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license or urgent application in process.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications in hand at start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• Ability to work night shifts and float within hospital departments.
• Valid SSN for submission purposes.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital’s intensive care or critical care units.
• Comfortable with hospital electronic medical record systems, preferably Epic.
• Flexibility to cover every other weekend shifts.
