Job Title

• Cath Lab / Electrophysiology (EP) Technician

• Full-time, Day Shift, 4/10’s schedule, rotating weekday off

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures, including heart catheterization, PCI, structural heart, and vascular cases.
• Prepare and set up room and equipment for procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
• Instruct and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, providing routine and emergency patient care as needed.
• Contribute to team training and orientation of new personnel, supporting quality control initiatives through auditing and reporting.
• Monitor patient conditions throughout procedures to ensure safety and optimal care delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Hold one of the following credentials: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), ARRT-R (Radiography), or other approved cardiac/vascular imaging certification.
• Minimum of an associate degree from an accredited institution or two years of cath lab experience in lieu of degree.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, with ACLS obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Must meet one of the following licensing/registration criteria: ARRT-R and MRT through TX Medical Board, RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or CCDS.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Less than 1 year of previous experience in a cath lab or related cardiovascular setting.
• Experience handling a high volume of cases (15-25 per day) in a fast-paced environment.
