Job Title

Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to oncology patients in a mixed acuity PCU and MS unit, including administering chemotherapy and managing patient symptoms.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including dysrhythmias, and respond to patient needs using Rapid Response Teams when necessary.
• Perform various procedures such as blood draws from central and peripheral lines, feeding tube care, and blood product administration.
• Manage complex patient diagnoses, including leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and other hematologic disorders.
• Administer medications via nasal cannula, manage stem cell transplants (autologous, syngeneic, allogeneic), and support CAR-T therapy patients.
• Ensure compliance with chemotherapy protocols and maintain patient safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse license in Ohio or applicable state.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in MS and oncology units, including stem cell transplants and chemotherapy administration.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Proficiency in central, PICC, and peripheral line management, as well as blood product administration.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Experience with autologous, allogeneic, or syngeneic stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapy.
• Knowledge of advanced oncology procedures and patient-specific therapies.
