Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to telemetry patients in a busy hospital setting.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding appropriately to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and interventions using Cerner system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and CPI preferred.
• Experience caring for geriatric or inpatient rehab (Swing Bed) patients.
• Proficient in wound care procedures.
• Experience with standard medical/surgical equipment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior telemetry or cardiac care experience.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
