Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement infection control protocols within the hospital setting
• Conduct investigations and reviews related to infection outbreaks
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and health regulations pertaining to infection prevention
• Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance sterilization and sterile processing procedures
• Document and report infection control activities and findings
• Educate staff on infection prevention best practices

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Extensive experience in infection control within a hospital environment
• Knowledge of sterile processing, operating room protocols, and infection prevention standards
• Strong understanding of healthcare compliance and safety regulations
• Ability to conduct investigations and analyze infection data

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous work in community hospital settings
• Certification in infection control (e.g., CIC) is a plus
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
