Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift, 3x12s, nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit of an acute care hospital
• Monitor and manage cardiac telemetry and other specialized patient needs
• Document patient progress and coordinate care using Epic electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
• Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, and protocol compliance
• Support emergency responses during hurricane season if assigned to emergency teams

Required Qualifications

• Valid SC license or Compact license in hand prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting (2 years preferred)
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS and CPI preferred
• Epic experience required, along with telemetry competency
• Previous charge nurse experience and community hospital background preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating within scope or between units/sister facilities
• Trauma level experience is not required but is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
