- Night shifts, 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to oncology and women’s surgical patients on a busy medical-surgical unit.
- Administer chemotherapy and perform occasional procedures such as pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis.
- Collaborate with a team of nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Document patient progress and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies and maintain compliance with safety and clinical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience in a medical-surgical or oncology setting.
- Ability to work night shift hours consistently.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Chemotherapy certification.
- Experience with complex patient care procedures.
- Team-oriented and willing to learn new skills.
