Registered Nurse Oncology

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, days shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to adult oncology patients in a busy clinic setting
• Administer treatments, medications, and monitor patient responses
• Document patient information accurately using EPIC system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-care instructions
• Ensure compliance with safety and accreditation standards

Required Qualifications:

• Valid compact or state RN license in Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Oncology Registered Nurse
• BLS certification (ACLS & OCN preferred)
• Experience caring for adult oncology patient populations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Flexibility to float between units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with hematologic malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloproliferative disorders
• Familiarity with EPIC documentation system
• Knowledge of chronic and acute oncology diagnoses
• Comfortable working variable shifts and traveling to different locations as needed
