Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Administer medications, including IV starts and other treatments specific to obstetric patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs and progress, ensuring safe labor and postpartum experiences.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience.
• Valid compact or state nursing license in Ohio (or eligible for licensure).
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRPS.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
• Skills in IV initiation and L&D patient care.
• Ability to float to other units if required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with Ohio fingerprinting process and compliance.
• Familiarity with MRI-specific protocol (if applicable).
