Paraprofessional Teacher

Job Title

• Paraprofessionals 2025/2026 School Year (Greater Western Massachusetts)

Key Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers in elementary and middle school settings.
• Assist with student supervision and behavior management.
• Provide individualized support in 1:1 and floater roles as needed.
• Help facilitate learning activities and reinforce classroom instruction.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for students.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates’ degree or equivalent preferred.
• Certification through ParaPro or similar assessment program, or at least 48 college credits preferred.
• Must pass acceptable MA CORI and SAFIS fingerprint background checks prior to employment.
• Professional development as required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or appropriate work visa required.

• Experience working with children in educational settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
