Registered Nurse - IR/Special Procedures

Location: Peoria, IL

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, days

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Interventional Radiology (IR) department during scheduled procedures.
• Assist with pre-operative, intra-procedural, and post-operative patient care, including patient monitoring and documentation.
• Interpret EKGs and perform drip titration as required by RN standards.
• Collaborate with charge RNs, IR techs, and physicians to ensure smooth procedural flow.
• Follow unit protocols for patient safety, infection control, and emergency response.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Illinois nursing license or confirmed application submission.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Experience or proficiency in EKG interpretation.
• Drip titration experience.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Phillips monitors.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience in IR, ED, ICU, or procedural nursing.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment with 20-30 cases per day.
• Experience with vascular, GI, stroke, or biopsy procedures.
