Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations for students enrolled in school programs.
- Provide in-service training on clinical topics to program staff.
- Collaborate with families regarding testing, treatment, and behavioral strategies.
- Design and implement individual and group behavior management plans.
- Offer crisis intervention within classroom settings.
- Provide ongoing behavioral support and consultation to staff.
- Participate in interdisciplinary evaluation teams and student planning meetings.
- Develop or adapt assessment tools for student evaluations.
- Prepare reports on student progress, observations, and assessments.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation of services.
- Assist in screening and evaluating students for placement decisions.
- Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree and C.A.G.S. from a NASP-approved program in school psychology or equivalent.
- Massachusetts DESE Certification as a School Psychologist.
- Minimum one year of experience as a school psychologist.
- Alternatively, Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure appropriate to clinical discipline.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience participating in interdisciplinary evaluation teams.
- Ability to develop behavioral management strategies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with families and staff.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
