Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for ICU patients in a hospital setting.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Adhere to unit policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
• Strong clinical skills and patient care knowledge specific to ICU settings.
• Certified in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS).
• Experience with Meditech EMR system preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience in ICU units.
• Familiarity with advanced ICU procedures and equipment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
