• Full-time, contract, nights shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 13-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care and monitoring for cardiac and respiratory patients in the CVICU.
• Manage patients with complex hemodynamics, ECMO, Impella, and balloon pump therapies.
• Administer titratable IV drips and utilize advanced cardiac monitoring tools.
• Perform procedures such as central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, and tracheostomies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using the electronic medical record system.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms.
• Knowledge of titratable drips and hemodynamic management.
• Experience with respiratory patients, vents, trachs, and airvo.
• Prior experience in CVICU, including open heart surgery recovery, ECMO, Impella, and balloon pump therapies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CVICU charge nurse experience.
• Familiarity with procedures like bronchoscopy, tracheostomy, and intubation.
• Experience with SLED and CRRT machines.
• Positive attitude, team player, adaptable.
