• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, full-time (3 shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit for adult patients with varying diagnoses including CHF, COVID pneumonia, and arrhythmias.
• Monitor and utilize the hospital’s Epic EMR system to document patient information accurately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including charge nurses and techs, to ensure quality patient care.
• Follow hospital policies, including local rate processing and call-off protocols, and maintain compliance with all safety standards.
• Assume responsibility for patient monitoring and response, including vital sign assessment, medication administration, and use of ventilator support such as Bipap and Cpap.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license or verified application process.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital-based nursing experience in acute care or Stepdown units.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system.
• Last four digits of SSN and individual's middle initial required for submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with adult critical care or intermediate units.
• Knowledge of common patient diagnoses such as CHF, COVID pneumonia, arrhythmias.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled.
• Comfortable with floating to different units as needed.
