Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgical teams in orthopedic and spine procedures at a busy specialty hospital
- Work 10-hour shifts with on-call rotation during weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Support surgeries including general, hand, foot/ankle, sports medicine, total joint, and spine ortho, utilizing robotics systems such as Mako, Rosa, and Cori
- Ensure readiness and proper setup of surgical tools and equipment
- Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Complete credentialing and documentation prior to start date
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience in orthopedic and spine surgeries
- Valid NBSTSA certification
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work within 30 minutes of the hospital
- Experience with robotics systems (Mako, Rosa, Cori) preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume orthopedic/spine specialty hospital
- Familiarity with rapid-paced surgical environments
- Ability to manage call responsibilities efficiently
