Respiratory Therapist
Location: John Day, OR
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week assignment, on-site, day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments to patients based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status, adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license or credentials in the state of Oregon.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Proven experience in a hospital or clinical setting providing respiratory therapy.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience working in a hospital environment.
• Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency (preferred but not required).
