Registered Nurse - ICU

• Location: Naperville, IL
• Schedule / Job Type: Part-time, 24 hours per week, Night shifts (12 hours)
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized critical care nursing in ICU settings, including Neuro and Cardiac/Neuro ICU units
  • Manage high-acuity patients with conditions such as stroke, cardiac failure, post-surgical recovery, and critically ill neuro patients
  • Perform advanced procedures including EVDSs, CRRT, Balloon Pumps, Swans, and related critical interventions
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care and ensure best outcomes
  • Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately and thoroughly
• Required Qualifications:
  • Active Illinois RN license
  • Minimum of 3 years of critical care experience in high-acuity ICU settings
  • Experience with neuro or cardiovascular surgical patients, including stroke-certified practice, advanced heart failure management, and use of specialized devices (e.g., balloon pumps, swans)
  • Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS
  • Skills in managing complex neuro and cardiovascular cases and understanding stroke protocols
• Preferred Experience / Skills:
  • Experience with EVDSs, NI patients
  • Knowledge of all aspects of stroke patient care from a stroke-certified program
