Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to antepartum patients in a high-acuity obstetric unit.
• Monitor and manage high-risk labor and delivery cases, including preterm labor and magnesium sulfate administration.
• Document patient progress accurately using Meditech and CPIN systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a newly renovated Women’s Services Unit.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code and infection control guidelines.
• Participate in floating as needed to support staffing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (temp licenses not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in high-risk obstetrics, labor & delivery, or antepartum care.
• BLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification.
• Experience managing high acuity patients, including preterm labor and magnesium sulfate protocols.

Preferred Skills / Advanced Skills Needed

• ACLS certification.
• Experience with Meditech EHR systems.
• Knowledge of advanced obstetric nursing practices.
