Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for oncology patients, including administering treatments such as blood and electrolyte replacement and chemotherapy.
• Monitor patient conditions, assess symptoms, and respond to patient needs based on unit protocols.
• Manage and document patient care using electronic medical records (Meditech).
• Follow strict infection control policies, including neutropenic precautions and linen changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of intake and output, medication administration, and patient progress.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• BLS certification
• Oncology nursing experience is mandatory
• Certification or experience in hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant is preferred
• Ability to work night shift (7 PM - 7 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hematology background
• Chemotherapy certification
• Experience in inpatient oncology units or bone marrow transplant units
