- Full-time, Days shifts, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedic, neuro, and fall risk patients.
- Work across multiple care settings: inpatient, outpatient, and home health.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document patient progress using Cerner Community Works and Kinnser EMR systems.
- Collaborate with treatment teams and utilize Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) when available.
- Cover at least two care areas such as inpatient and home care, outpatient and ortho, or lymphedema.
- Follow departmental policies including dress code and orientation procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license or confirmation of application in process.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to produce a negative drug screen.
- Demonstrated diverse clinical background in occupational therapy.
- Experience with various patient diagnoses, including orthopedic, neuro, and fall risk cases.
- Familiarity with EMR systems: Cerner Community Works and Kinnser.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
- Lymphedema certification or specialized upper extremity OT expertise considered a plus.
- Ability to work in inpatient, outpatient, and home care settings.
