Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced imaging procedures in multiple modalities, with a focus on CT, in an emergency department setting.
• Operate imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols to assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries.
• Assist in maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
• Ensure all imaging procedures are performed per regulatory and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• State licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) or equivalent in Texas.
• ARRT certification in CT (ARRT-CT) or relevant imaging modality.
• Less than 1 year of experience in imaging technology.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an emergency department environment.
• Additional certification in advanced modalities such as MRI, Nuc Med, or IR.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
