Key Responsibilities

• Identify students requiring school-based therapy services through assessment evaluations and analysis.
• Write assessment reports outlining student needs and develop treatment strategies to enhance functional abilities and learning capacity.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain progress reports to determine continued or discontinued services.
• Maintain accurate records and files, and process Medicaid billing promptly.
• Travel within the county as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by school administration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid and clear Georgia licensure for Occupational Therapy.
• Current NBCOT certification.
• Experience working in a school system is preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy.
• Strong assessment and reporting skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams.
