- Full-time, Day shift, 12-hour shifts, contract (13 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care within interventional radiology and special procedures units
- Assist in patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care according to protocols
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient information and procedures accurately in electronic health records
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty (IR or special procedures)
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred or required depending on facility protocol
- Ability to work rotating major and minor holidays (including Christmas and New Year’s days/eves)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital environment within interventional radiology or surgical special procedures
- Strong patient communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
