Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in an acute care setting
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize EMR systems to document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Participate in unit activities and support a positive patient and team environment
- Perform procedures such as wound care and inpatient rehabilitation therapy as needed
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, dress code, and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist
- At least 1 year of acute care therapy experience
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules and adapt to challenging situations
- Empathetic, friendly, and team-oriented personality
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Wound care experience
- Inpatient rehab experience
- Knowledge of Meditech EMR system
