Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine and complex nursing care to telemetry patients, utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
- Assess and address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health conditions and care plans.
- Demonstrate leadership by fulfilling competencies related to self, others, and team leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in Texas or a compact state.
- BLS certification (AHA).
- At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in telemetry, MedSurg, or IMC settings.
- ACLS certification.
