Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for pediatric intensive care patients in a designated PICU unit
- Monitor patient conditions and administer treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and assist with procedures such as chest tube management, lumbar punctures, and seizure management
- Support a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a focus on patient safety and quality care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Active BLS certification
- Active PALS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification (considered a plus)
- Prior experience in pediatric intensive care nursing (PICU) preferred
