Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized pediatric intensive care to patients up to 25 years old, including those with epilepsy monitoring and complex medical needs
• Administer medications, including inotropes, and perform EKG assessments for rhythm recognition
• Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring safe and effective care during night shifts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Conduct assessments and respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition
• Adhere to hospital protocols and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent pediatric experience prior to travel assignments
• Recent pediatric care experience, including epilepsy monitoring and specialized patient management
• Valid Ohio license or license from a compact state
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (current and applicable)
• Experience with EKG interpretation and inotropes required
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation; acceptable scores necessary

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel experience in pediatric intensive care units acceptable
• Experience with NIHHS and familiarity with Qualivis – Lotus for submitting hours worked
