Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week assignment, day shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for both adult and pediatric patients in a Medical/Surgical unit
- Work collaboratively with a team of nurses and a full-time hospitalist physician
- Maintain high standards of care with minimal supervision
- Float to appropriate departments as needed based on qualifications
- Utilize established protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- Valid RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a hospital setting, specifically in Medical/Surgical units
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a rural healthcare setting
