• Full-time, 36 hours per week, Day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Float to various Oncology Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry units as needed to provide patient care.
• Ensure staff safety within a secure corrections environment, following strict safety protocols.
• Document patient assessments and care using the EPIC electronic health record system.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, including oncology diagnoses, post-surgical care, and other non-oncology medical conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies, utilizing telemetry systems.
• Support interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, and social services to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or Compact-state RN license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
• Experience with oncology patient populations preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of telemetry and medical-surgical nursing protocols.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a secured corrections setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience caring for oncology or hematology patients.
• Experience with IV therapy, PICC line management, and cardiac drips.
• Knowledge of respiratory support devices such as CPAP, BIPAP, or high-flow oxygen.
