Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, contract, 3 shifts per week, Days shift (12 hours each)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on IMC/PCU/Stepdown units within a corrections health setting
• Float as needed across Oncology Medical-Surgical units
• Ensure staff and patient safety in a secure, correctional environment
• Document patient care using EPIC; experience with Epic charting required
• Manage patients with active oncology diagnoses, treatments, or other medical conditions
• Support multidisciplinary teams including pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, and respiratory services

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or compact nursing license in hand at time of submission
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• EPIC charting experience
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Ability to interpret telemetry data and manage cardiac monitoring
• Strong knowledge of IV therapy, medication protocols, and respiratory equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing background
• Experience in Medical-Surgical or telemetry units
• Familiarity with correctional health environments
• Ability to manage complex patient diagnoses including COPD, sepsis, renal failure, and post-surgical care
