Schedule / Job Type

• Full-Time, 12-hour Night shifts, 13-16 week assignment, acute care setting

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with acute leukemia and oncology diagnoses
• Monitor patient conditions, including telemetry and dysrhythmias interpretation and management
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, IV therapies, and manage central and peripheral lines including PICC lines
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols and fall prevention measures
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for rapid response and patient safety
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records systems

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license with a compact or state license in Ohio
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Chemo certification (ONS Chemo Cert) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, and blood product administration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification
• Experience with feeding tube care and management
• Familiarity with on-unit orientation and self-scheduling
• Prior experience in oncology or hematology units preferred
