Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including high acuity cases.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including drips and airway management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Responsible for patient safety and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
• Float to other units as needed, with first to float to lower acuity units.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Missouri
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in PCU or similar high-acuity settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high acuity drips, arterial lines, BIPAP, and Airvo
• Ability to manage complex patient cases and operate advanced medical equipment

Notes

• Orientation scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm; next available orientations are 12/8 or 12/15.
• Credential requirements must be completed at least one week prior to start date.
• The facility allows cancellation of one shift per pay period at no cost or pay deduction.
