Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care in various ICU settings, including Neuro, Surgical, Medical (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU.
• Float to different ICUs based on staffing needs and patient acuity, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
• Adhere to unit policies requiring floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
• Maintain required certifications and proficiency with electronic medical records systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Valid state or compact nursing license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management.
• Ability to float within various ICU units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred.
• Experience working with diverse ICU patient populations.
• Ability to drive and complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly.
